Mini Daily Rituals: Candle Magic!

Here at Sacred Glow, we work with fire. One of the four elements, fire is transformative. It can destroy within seconds, but it can also light the way through a dark path. A single flame can ignite a powerful response.

In our energy work, we use fire to cleanse, charge, revive, and protect. I'm not just talking about our crystals, which are thoroughly cleansed and charged before being sent out for shipment. I'm also talking about how you, as an individual, can use fire on your journey.

I understand how overwhelming life can be. We are both working women and have to juggle several responsibilities all at once. That's where mini rituals come in. You don't have to have an elaborate set-up or any particular tools. It won't take up a huge chunk of your time. It can be as simple as just lighting a candle. For me, candles are beautiful, powerful, and when lit with intention, they can shift the energy within you or around you.

Here's a simple mini-ritual that I personally do every single day. I grab a piece of paper or a fake dollar bill of any denomination, and write a wish, desire, or goal on it. I place it underneath a candle and light the candle. I say a tiny affirmation or just read the words I just wrote, out loud. Within seconds, the burning flame transforms my energy and the energy in my home.

Of course, never leave a burning candle unattended. But feel free to gaze at the amazing light you just created. Practice gratitude as much as possible, and thank yourself for taking this time for yourself. It totally counts as self-care to just take even a few minutes all to yourself. Think about everything you are grateful for, and welcome anything that is for your greatest good. Trust that at least in this very moment, you are safe. Whether your intention is abundance, protection, or love (or anything really), believe in it. See it, feel it, manifest it! The Universe is listening. The energy that you put out into the Universe, comes back to you multiplied. Sometimes in unpredictable ways.

So go ahead, light that candle and bask in its glorious light. You deserve it!
